Not Guilty by Jury -Attempted Robbery-Washington County Superior Court

Client was charged with attempting to rob a convenience store by demanding money from the counter clerk and indicating that he was in posession of a firearm. After a full jury trial, the defendent was found not guilty.

Not Guilty by Jury -1st Deree Robbery-Providence County Superior Court

Client was charged with pistol whipping and robbing a wallet and cell phone from a pedestrian. After a week long jury trial, the defendant was found not guilty by a jury.

Not Guilty by Jury -ADW with a golf club-Newport County Superior Court

Client was charged with assaulting the complaining witness with a golf club. After a jury trial, defendant was found not guilty.

Not Guilty by Jury -Felony Larceny-Providence County Superior Court

Client was charged in a three count information charging felony larceny, domestic assault, and domestic disorderly conduct. Client was accused of assaulting his ex-fiance and stealing her ring. After a jury trial, defendant was found not guilty.

Not Guilty by Jury -2nd Degree Child Molestation-Providence Superior Court

Client was charged with second degree child molestation. After a jury trial, client was found not guilty.

Not Guilty by Jury -Breaking and Entering-Providence County Superior Court

Client was charged with several counts of breaking and entering into a business and committing larceny. It was alleged that the defendant would break into the business after-hours. After a full jury trial, defendant was found not guilty.

Not Guilty by Jury -ADW-Providence County Superior Court

Client was charged in a four count information charging him with 2 counts of ADW with a shotgun, B&E and Malicious Damage. After a full jury trial, the defendant was found not guilty on both ADW charges. As to the B&E and Malicious Damage, the defendant was found guilty. However, after a motion for a new trial was granted on the remaining charges, the defendant plead to a single misdemeanor count of trespassing.

Hung Jury -Second Degree Child Molestation-Kent County Superior Court

Client was charged with second degree child molestation. After a full jury trial, the jury was hung with a vote of 8-4 not guilty. After a hung jury was obtained, the charges were reduced to a misdemeanor.

Bench Trial - Robbery-Washington County Superior Court

Client was charged with robbery and conspiracy. Thereafter, a bench trial ensued. After cross-examination of the alleged victim, charges were reduced to disorderly conduct and defendant received a filing.

Jury Trial- First Degree Sexual Assault- Kent County Superior Court

Client was charged with the first degree sexual assault of the alleged victim. A jury trial began. After opening statements and cross-examination of the complaining witness, charges were reduced to a single misdemeanor count of simple assault to which the defendant plead no lo.
